Why a single “price per screen” can be misleading
A small fixed window screen and a large sliding security door have different dimensions, frames and hardware. Before comparing two prices, check that both cover the same opening, mesh, colour, hardware and installation scope. An online price for supply only may not include fitting to your existing doorway.
We do not publish a universal installed price because the opening and selected specifications need to be checked. Share photos and approximate measurements for an initial range, then use the measured quotation for your final decision.
Size, mesh and opening style
Width, height and the number of openings establish the amount of material and work involved. Hinged doors, single sliding doors, stacker openings and fixed window screens need different configurations. State how many panels move and photograph the existing frames and tracks.
Standard insect mesh, pet mesh, stainless steel security mesh and diamond grille options answer different needs. Ask what complete screen system is included rather than comparing the mesh description alone. Colour choice and pet-door requirements should also be included in the scope.
Existing frames and installation conditions
An existing screen may be suitable for re-meshing, or its frame may need replacement. For sliding screens, the available track and closing position matter. Uneven jambs, damaged frames and access to the opening can change the work required; we check the relevant details before confirming the quote.
Tell us whether you want one door replaced, several window screens or a combination. This lets us describe the job as a whole. Ask whether removal of existing screens and any additional frame work are included, rather than assuming they are part of every quote.
Prepare an initial quote request
For each door or window, provide approximate width and height, opening type, preferred mesh and frame colour. Add your suburb and describe the existing screen or frame condition. Upload is not required to start the online form; photos can be emailed with the quotation reference so the team can match them to your request.
If the initial price range is suitable, we arrange a site measure. The formal quote reflects the confirmed dimensions and selected specification. If you accept the formal quote, the deposit invoice is 50% of the confirmed project total including GST. Any later scope changes should be confirmed with the team.
