Hinged security screen doors for entryways
For a front, rear or side entrance, a hinged screen door opens out from the existing doorway. The fit depends on the jamb, hinge side, available swing space and the position of handles on the main door. A photograph of the whole doorway helps us check these details before a site visit.
Tell us if the doorway is a single or double opening, and whether an old screen door is already fitted. We confirm the opening and hardware on site before making the new door, rather than relying on a nominal standard door size.
Sliding security screens for patio and stacker doors
For an aluminium sliding glass door, the screen must work with the frame, track and closing position. Send photos of the top and bottom tracks, the full opening and the existing screen if there is one. Include how many glass panels slide and which direction they move.
Stacker and multi-panel openings need their own layout check. A wide opening does not automatically suit a single sliding screen, so the number of panels and usable track space are confirmed during measurement. We explain the proposed arrangement in your quote.
Mesh, frame colours and pet access
Options in our range include stainless steel security mesh and diamond grille screen doors. We also supply insect-screen and pet-mesh options for different everyday needs. Tell us whether your priority is security, insect control, airflow or pet access so we can specify the complete door accordingly.
Pet mesh and standard flyscreen mesh are not interchangeable with a security screen system. If you need a pet door, let us know the opening and approximate pet size at the enquiry stage; suitability depends on the chosen door and mesh. Frame colour and hardware are confirmed before fabrication.
What to send for a made-to-measure door quote
Use the online quote form to list each door separately with approximate width, height and your preferred mesh. Add a note if the opening is hinged, sliding or stacking. For an unusual frame or existing damage, email photos to office@ihomeqld.com.au and include your quotation reference.
Your first enquiry helps us prepare an initial price range. If that range suits your budget, we arrange a site measure and confirm the final specification and quote before manufacture. Existing frames, opening size, mesh and installation conditions can affect the final amount.
